The reconstruction work is believed to be finished until December 2013. This means that 90% of all rooms are expected to be en suite rooms by the end of this year.

On our own account:

3rd February 2016: New collaboration with Bishopstrow College.

The now newly concluded collaboration with Bishopstrow College in the southwestern English town of Warminster perfectly fits into our range of schools. Since Bishopstrow College is an education institute, that prepares international students for entering a British top boarding school. Hence, Bishopstrow College is more than just a school, which can be attended one to four years. In addition to the regular lessons, English language skills are advanced particularly. Prepared like this, the alleged leap at an elite private school usually proves to be only a very small step.

A special advantage of this school as well is its small size, because it also implicates small class sizes. The schoolgirls and -boys are guided individually and witness a familiar atmosphere, in which one can live and study well.

22nd June 2015: New collaboration with two more schools.

We are happy to announce our collaboration with two more schools: These are the EF Academies in Oxford and Torbay. Both schools are superb educational institutions, which are furthermore based in attractive locations. While venerable Oxford as one of the two most famous English university cities enjoys an excellent reputation not only among academics, the seaside resort Torquay at the English Riviera, which forms the unitary authority Torbay together with two other towns and a few smaller villages, convinces with its maritime, almost Mediterranean flair.

As graduation options both Schools offer the A levels as well as the International Baccalaureate. Both have also got their international orientation and the support on the application for a place at a British top university by their own study resp. career advisors in common. By the collaboration with the EF educational institutions we have succeeded in supplementing our range with two very appealing, international-oriented schools.

February 2014: Collaboration with Northern Irish school tied up.

As of now we can present to our customers a Northern Irish boarding school. Famous for its rich traditions Campbell college, which is now also among the schools we represent not least stands up with an outstanding value-for-money ratio.  Campbell College is located in a very beautiful park landscape on the outskirts of the Northern Irish capital Belfast. The all-boys school, in which – junior and senior school taken together – almost 1,200 students get schooled, has an impressive size. But not in the least this size is negatively reflected in the quantitative tudors-to-students ratio, which for example comes to a very good figure of 1:8 at the senior school. Thus small class sizes are guaranteed.

Campbell College gains even more Brownie points by its diverse sports and leisure facilities as well as its modern and clean accommodation facilities. In fact the all-boys school has also thought about girls: Due to a collaboration with Strathearn School, which again is an all-girls school located in the same street, also female boarding school pupils can apply. As of recently they have their own area of life in the boarding house of Campbell College.

Currently the school accommodates 132 boarders, 79 of them come from abroad. There’s even a small German community of eight students at the school, which also a German woman teacher belongs to.

18th June 2013: Business trip successfully finished.

Our business trip to the UK was held according to the schedule and we visited 15 schools in England and Wales. Also on our agenda was a meeting with a representative of a guardianship agency.

The guided tours which we got through all the schools, and the time which the members of the school staff made for us, was more than just a reward for our travel strain.

Our conclusion of our travel is that we cooperate with excellent schools without exception. All of them have unique features available that make them attractive to our clients. Certainly another result of our latest trip to Great Britain is that we have updated ourselves in regard to the schools, their guidelines and admission standards.

Thus we can advise our clients even more individually, more targeted and hence better in the future.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

June 2013: Learning in Britain visits numerous British boarding schools.

In order to guarantee our clients high standards, we ourselves from Learning in Britain get an idea of some of our partner schools between 1st and 17th June.  In this way our trip covers more than 1,800 km in Great Britain, where we have arranged visiting dates on almost every day.

During our trip we will talk to headmistresses and headmasters as well as to the students. Naturally on our agenda will also be tours through the school facilities, the boarding houses and the sports facilities.

Namely regular visits to the schools that collaborate with us let us get a sense of “our” schools to understand their requirements and to grasp and explain to our clients the the opportunities which they can propose.

To be always up to date, keep you, our clients, well informed and be able to advise you at best, in our understanding business trips to Great Britain rank among our annual responsibilities.
